Tried everything, cant get clutch to disengauge fully.

I just swaped out a mcleod street disk for a mcleod performance disk and my clutch will now not fully disengauge. I am using a SLP pressure plate and an oem flywheel that only had .010" machined off when it was resurfaced. I have also replaced all the clutch hydrolics as well as pulled the transmission to make sure everything was right. I cant figure it out. Any ideas?

What are the clamping forces of the pressure plate compared to stock? Some heavily sprung pressure plates can easily overwhelm the master cylinder. In addition some aftermarket clutches are slightly thicker than stock clutches using up precious space that these pull style clutches don't have much of.

The SLP/LT4 pressure plate is a pretty common one to use, and the hydrolics have been replaced already so i dont think thats it.

I was also wondering about the thickness of the disk. I measured the thickness of the clutch and it is a .327". I dont know what a stock friction disk is but the spec stage 2 is .330"

Im going to give mcleod a call tomorrow to see what they say.
