tried to do lt4 km, now car won't start?

alright, i was doing the lt4 km swap, and everything went fine, then when i went to turn on my car all i hear is a clicking sound
it does it like twice every second and it does it the whole time i am trying to start it
it also flicks the lights on and off while i'm doing it (it does it with the clicking sound, maybe doesnt make the lights go off but it dims them)
it was also slow on my power windows after i repeatedly tried to do it
but when i turned back the key, the radio and everything was fine
is it the battery?
it's been sitting for a little while now, i guess a week maybe?
i didn't start the car prior to doing the swap so i'm not sure if my swap had anything to do with it or not
nothing went wrong though
help please

You just need a jump start, did you leave the door open or the interior lights on while you did the mod? If your worried take the battery out and have it go get checked for free at your local autozone.

If you have an alarm with a bright LED "scanner" itll kill your battery after a week of sitting.

yea, i was thinking battery, and my uncle said the same thing
i got a charger from him and i'm gonna hook it up tomorrow
i did have the radio going (turned key back) and had it playing while i was doing it (stupid, next time i do a computer type mod i'll remember that)

but do \you think if i have it charged, will it need a new battery?
i'm not sure if i killed it or what
will a charge do it and i can just keep the same old battery?
thanks for the replies

More than likely if you charge her up it should be good, if the batt is fairly new that is. Just keep on eye on it, it may be worth it to just go to sears pick up a new batt, so you dont get stuck anywhere

i'm a little short on cash so this one will have to last if it works fine
if not, i'll just get stranded if it does that
i'm a risktaker

Doh! Most install guides I have seen say to disc the battery before installing the module, anyway. Some people don't, though. It's always a good idea to disc the battery when doing electrical stuff. Sounds like your battery was low before you started.

yea, that's what my uncle said
i'll remember to disconnect the battery before doing elec stuff from now on
i didn't think it would hurt to just swap the module with the battery connected but...o well, live and learn
let's just hope my old battery is still good, i'm really short on cash now
