Just make sure all of the bolts are off of it and that the steam pipe running down the passenger side is out of the way. I used the handle of a hammer inside the front of the intake(throttle body removed) to coax it up. Also, the EGR pipe runs from the passenger side exhaust manifold into the intake on the rear. This is a flex pipe so you will have room to move the intake around so you can get to the bolts to remove it.

Just make sure everything is unbolted and disconnected. You should be able to pull it up with a good yank. I had to climb on top of the engine and give it a good pull to get it loose. Good luck.

Like they said, make sure everything is disconnected, and then pry it off. I took my throttle body off and put a wood handle (i think it was from an axe) into one of the holes and gently pryed. Came right off, nice and easy.
