Trickflow or Vortech

I need to replace my intake elbow, and i'm looking at either the polished vortech or the trickflow available at summit, can anyone post experiences with either? Also, will that sensor that plugs into the elbow plug into either of these like stock?

both come with all sensor fittings, but i've heard the vortec doesn't work with throttle body air foils because of the divider. If you're just wanting to get rid of the intake silencer you can also go with a 1le intake elbow from gm parts direct or a intake elbow plug.

plug is at: http://www.thunderracing.com/catalog...vid=4&pcid=219

Definitely go with the Trick Flow, it looks good and from what I heard you have to cut the Vortech elbow to get it to work. But, you don't the Trick Flow.

I have the polished Vortech elbow, and it looks awsome. It did interfere with my Holley air foil, but i was able to modify the foil to make it work. It was no biggie to modify and was worth the time. I didn't have any problems istalling it, other than air foil part.

Get the trick flow, I have the vortech and hate that middle divider. It messes with my n2o system with the shark nozzle.

I also have the trick flow and the install was extremely easy.

I guess it really depends on the car... I felt a difference as soon as I started driving it, considering one of my spark wires was being cut by one of the pulleys and I had a slight misfire.

Trickflow.

BTW, if you have a vented opti, drill the hole somewhere else in the intake. I'm still kicking myself for drilling through the elbow when there was plenty of plastic around to use.

The air foil does next to nothing. You May see ~1hp increase with tons of other stuff done...

SOTP feeling? That's a negative ghost rider...
