Trickflow Heads (Advertised verses My Flow numbers)

Hey guys it seems like this area gets a little more traffic so I figured I'd post it here since it fit the guidelines. So yeah Chris, Matt and I went out and flowed the new LT1 trickflow heads to see how close they were to their advertised numbers and I have to say they're pretty darn close . Enough blabbering and to the numbers.

Trickflows advertised numbers(Without use of pipe)
Intake Exhaust
.100 50 .100 57
.200 135 .200 98
.300 191 .300 136
.400 229 .400 162
.500 253 .500 176
.600 254 .600 189

My Flow numbers As cast with Manley Race Flo 2.02 and 1.6 valves(without pipe)
Intake Exhaust
.100 65 .100 50
.200 134 .200 97
.300 181 .300 130
.400 220 .400 157
.500 251 .500 167
.600 247 .600 175

I think they're pretty close to the advertised flow numbers. They're slightly off on the exhaust side but I suppose each exhaust port is different and the flow bench guy said it was the worst looking on that head. They're now getting "touched up" but should gain a few cfm on each side. So trickflow heads are pretty close to advertised numbers!!!!Unlike AFR's rep of carry the one add 15 or so yeeeeaaahhh that looks like the proper numbers for our head and we can charged ungodly prices for them

Cheers

Mikey

We did notice a little reversion on the intake port at anything over .500 lift BTW

Off the topic. Carnutz, where in Oakdale do you live. I grew up in oakdale. Went to Castle Elementary way back in the early 70's.

On a side not my AFRs flowed about 3 CFM (give or take 2) from what the advertized numbers were.

But I have been interested in these Tirck flows. With the larger chamber I thnk theyd be more boost freindly.
