Go with the 1LE. The aluminum elbow does nothing but get HOT

That is why the air filter is over in the fender area and not on the water pump housing. Do you really think the air that is sucked in from the fender is going to be heated as it passes through a tube for a fraction of a second. You are not going to see a difference in performance between the metal elbow and plastic elbow. If anything, buy the metal elbow to plumb your nozzles in.

I have the Vortech elbow just for looks and i can sit in traffic all day long and it barelly even gets warm to the touch.

People also say that doing the throttle body bypass doesn't do anything since the air passed threw so fast. However the tb bypass is worth a dyno proven 7rwhp. From that I'd guess that the vortec elbow will make you lose a few horsepower.

Someone post a pic of the Trickflow elbow. I have seen the Vortech's but the Trickflow is new to me.
