Trap speed versus rear wheel horsepower

My car has a trap speed of 102 mph consistantly. Has anyone dynoed a car with a trap speed close to this, and what were the results. I am just wondering what to shoot for when i chassis dyno the car this year, im hoping for 275. THanks gang, prorac1

That's about 295 @ the motor and it is about 240 @ the rear wheels because it's an auto if it was a stick it would be around 260

So less rwhp in an auto equipped car traps 102, while a higher rwhp 6 speed with better gear ratios traps 102? It doesn't sound right to me. If he wanted to know rwhp from flywheel hp then I would agree. But for some reason I don't think what you said sounds right. Someone correct me If I am wrong.

Well it all depends on alot of factors really 60ft,torque convertor,it could be a hand full of different things a 6spd could make more rwhp then an auto but he could shift terrible or miss a gear it also could be weight difference between cars there is so much different possibiltes why one can run one time and the other could run another.....
