Transmission cooler lines leaking on 93

Just like the subject says and I went through the search and got 14 pages on 'leak*'.
I could not find anything on anyone having a problem with a leak at the flare nuts going into the passenger side of the tranny. I have tightened twice but nothing improves, it is a constant drip when I start the car. This tranny was replaced by the previous owner ( a shop did the work) and there are brass fitting in the tranny where the lines go in to it, then the flare nuts go into the brass fittings, is that right?
I have the GM manual, but it does not show much.
I did not see any "O-rings" on the cooler lines, are there?

I am going outside now and drop the tranny to see if I can see what the problem is, I need to install a converter anyway.

Thanks for any help,
Jim

Try some teflon tape on all the fittings.

Thanks Rob,
I am pretty sure it is leaking between the flare on the tubing and the compression nut.
I got everything ready to drop the tranny but 4 of the 6 bolts bellhousing bolts are very tight. I am using about 8 differenty size (lenght) of 3/8" extensions and there flexing too much. I can twist the entire assemby 1/4 turn. I have a friend that has one long 36 inch 1/2" extension, that should do the trick. I am now thinking of using gasket sealer on the flare to nut and then put it back together.
