TransAm doors on Camaros Question
I have already placed 95 TransAm doors on my 94 Z, and they were a perfect fit, and they look and sound way better than the Camaro ones! My one problem I have run into is the power mirror switch. The plugs are diffrent, the camaro has a 8 pin square box type while the TA has a long 8 pin plug. I hate to order a 8 pin plug just so I can splice the wires especialy since it cost $38 from the dealer. Would anyone have a wireing diagram of a TA, so that maybe I can sodder the wires to the pins? The pins are kinda close together so I don't really even know if that will work. Im thinking of going to a dealership and sitting in a TA and snipping the plug!! lol Idon't want to do that, but it sure is tempting!

why don't you try these f-body salvage yards. I am sure they have ton's of these harness tidbits. Probably cost you under $10 bucks. The part your looking for is probably not that desirable so I'm sure you could find it quite easily.
This route would be much more legal then the "visit the dealer" route.

I'm curious as to how the TA doors sound better than the Camaro doors?
Edit: Ah. Gotcha. You mean door panels. I thought you meant the entire door. I thought that woulda looked a little outta place.

Even if you get the plug for the Firebird switch, you are gonna have to do some rewiring to the Camaro mirrors. The harness leads are a little different because the Firebird switch is different. I made a conversion schematic for someone else that did this. He said it worked for him after finally finding the splice that the wires had to be cut from and adding other wires needed.
