Trans Crossmember necessary?

Hey guys I took my cross member off a long time ago when I pulled my tranny and never put it back on. Is it necessary? I dont wanna be losing anything when Im launching, or at high speeds. I have poly mounts and the car vibrates over 80 or 90 mph, but Im starting to think its better to have it on than off. Should I just go ahead and throw it back on?

No no no, I have the torque arm in place, theres a crossmember that goes the width of the car, I think it bolts in where the tranny mount is. I never put that piece back on, I think its like a 3 inch wide piece?? LOL, I took it off because I had the Edelbrock torque arm on and didnt think I needed it. I dont even remember what it looks like since Ive had it off for so long, something just made me think about it
