ok im leaving for a trip to west virginia on vacation with my friend and his family tomorrow and my cd collection is in my cd changer in my car and my cd player needs power to let me get the cd's out of it. but my car has no engine in it right now, just a wiring harness. is anything besides the fuel pump stopping me from hooking up a battery and still having all my accessories?

can i just pull the fuse to the pump and turn the key????

this wouldnt be that big of a deal but i cant sit through another 14 hours of a dolly parton Xmas or equally bad country or easy listening music. it just cant be done.

 

Pull the fuse! It should work!

 

hook up the battery and turn the key backwards, that doesnt engage the fuel pump but should give you juice to the radio so you can get your CD's out! ( I've had this problem before)

 

wow im a dumb *** id didnt even think of the accessories position by turning it backwards.

your sure it doesnt engage the fuel pump though?

It wont engage the fuel pump, just turn it backwards and you will be fine !
