Tranny Problem Please Help
Ok this a mild question. I have an automatic (4spd ) 94 Z and when i shift from "D" to "2" it makes a loud metal rubbing sound and the car shakes a little. I had the lube changed awhile ago. I also noticed that it takes it FOREVER to downshift in any other gear. Whats the problem? Please help

P.S. I was downshifting to stop quicker. (red light was coming quick). I know its an automatic and ur not suppose to shift!

you downshifted when you wanted to stop faster? what rpm did your car jump to when you did that? i'd recommend you get better brakes (ls1)...
