Tranny Dipstick keeps popping out

Every time i open the hood, my tranny dipstick is pushed out and I have to push it back in. Is this serious?....Thanks in advance

My 93 does the same thing, I'm not to woried about it.

Mine used to do that too. I always thought it was because the dipstick is so twisted it acts like a spring to a certain degree....I wouldnt worry about it...

Mine is always out about the width of the little cap.
