tranny coler installed but ?

i just installed my tranny cooler in my car i disconected both lines from the radiator the top 1 and the bottom 1 and connected both to my after market tranny coller would that work fine its cuz i just saw an instalation step by step and the guy conected the trany cooler this way from the trany to the after market tranny cooler and from the kooler to the radiator wich way works better and the way that i have it dose it work fine ?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I thought that the trans fliud goes thru the radiator first and then thru the aftermarket cooler, and then back to the trans. And I'm sure someone can point out a schematic of the proper installation.

Yup, that is right. I bought mine from edge racing converters and it was if it was a gm designed part. It may depend on the style of trans cooler, though. I paid $120 for mine.I took me about 30 minutes to install.
