Traction Control on 97 Formula
Traction Control on 97 Formula
I dont know if i have traction control on my recently purchased 97 Formula. If I turn the car on a Trac low light appears in the dash. Does this mean I have it and if so how do I turn it off.
No, that doesn't mean that you have it. If you have it, you will have a little switch under the radio I believe to shut it on/off.
I don't have it and the low traction light comes on now and then, when I have low traction.

I have a 95 Formula & my traction control button is on the console right next to the "Performane" button for the trans. Camaro's don't have a performance mode....they are always in performance mode. If you don't have the Traction button, you probally don't have it....Does the light go out once the car is running for a few seconds? If it comes on & stays on, it sounds like you have a sensor problem in the rear. The low traction light should only come on if you happen to be spinning the tires or when you first start the car up.
