there is no button for it...ive never used it...i bought the car and the relay was not in the relay box where it says tcs, and when u turn ign. on, but dont crank it...all the dash lights come on, and one of them says "traction control system"...it may not have it, it just seem dumb to keep the light and relay in cars without that option

ok i am willing to bet you dont have traction controll, there should be a big motor right above your drivers side valve cover if you dont have a big motor there you dont have it

Hell us A4 guys have CAGS lights on the cluster (No bulb) Its still there though. Unless you have the button..you dont have it... of course if you had it..you would no.. Traction Control is like dumping the clutch and not touching the gas pedal...same effect only the car doesnt die out

When my 1995 Z28 was stock, the ASR button was on the stock radio located near the bottom on the face just above the cigarette lighter, there is a "ASR OFF" light in the dashboard that lights up when you turn the traction control off.

It seems some people still dont understand. The picture above shows why some of us want to remove ASR. I can turn it off anytime I want, and I do when I race. Thats not the point. Look where the box is. Its unsightly and most of all taking up engine compartment space. ASR is not necessary and I have no use for it. Thats why many people remove it. Why do some people remove their AC? The very same reason. They can turn the Air Conditioning on and off too but once again thats not the point. The box is in the way and its not needed. Dont need any ridiculous crap taking up space in my engine bay.

Oh and if you have ASR/TCS you HAVE A BUTTON. No ifs ands or buts about it. No button no Traction Control.

I think mine is just below the lighter but same place left on the side of the storage "thing" for tapes and all. (in my 95 z28 a4)

And isn't ASR fun?
I goofed and left it on at the track all i see is the "low track" light come on and the back of the car in the lane next to me...
that sucked won't do that again.

I did that on accident once... left it on when I was trying to do my burnout getting ready to run. Boy did I feel stupid.

I was waiting for someone to scream "that thing can't even turn the tires over boy! what are you doing?!"
