XE 227/233 Cam with a 560/569 lift at the valves with the 1.6rr
Comp r lifters, etc... brand new valve train and stock bottom end

Nittos, Loudmouth, and tune from Ion @ MadZ28.com

Dynoed 302rwhp and 304lbs of torque pulling to only 5450 with intentions of pulling to 6k. I was running seriously lean at 13.88 and was tuned to a 112LSA cam instead of my 114LSA.

Any guesses?!

Please explain how that is even possible. I would guess your track times to be anywhere from 12.8-13.2@106-108 with 300rwhp and nittos at a good track.

Way, way too much MPH he only has a 300rwhp. My buddy with 340rwhp was only trapping 109. I'd say about 106 mph at the most. Remember he doesnt have headers.

 

Well, after a night of TERRIBLE track prep and like 3 cars having some oils pills. I could pull a best 60ft of 2.256 or some crap. No matter what I tried, after 6 runs, I couldn't get it to hook... on the street, I can't chirp 3rd. On the track, I was chirping 4th. I also think my tach was hurting my traps/times because I was finishing the race at 103-104 in 4th?

Track was so slippery, an Evo ran a 13.9 with like a 2.2 60.

 

There are no excuses in racing...Just ask anybody..any racer who knows...winning is winning...wether by an inch or a mile... you either win or you loose. What did you run?

 

13.8 all day trapping 102-104 each time

One 14.2 pass with a 2.5 60ft (Tried launching a little to hard) and missed a gear... which sucks because I dont miss gears (Only like the 2nd time since I got the car). I just couldn't nail the 60ft. To many cars spilling oil. I even drove next to a Saleen which threw a 2.0 60ft on ET slicks...

Not yet... I am buying an alarm system first. $430 for an awesome one. 2 way unit, proximity sensor, 6 mode sirens (LOUD), and a long *** range for my keyless entry. I really hate that my cars protection sucks with that crappy *** stock alarm.

Anyway, after I get that done, the headers will be coming along. But i'm still SOOOOOOOOO pissed that I ran those times. I really hope it was the track and not me. Because that would suck!!

 

Trap speeds look right for your rwhp.

An EVO with a 2.2 60' time will trap 13.9.
