TQ/HP gains at 5800 rpm

TQ/HP gains at 5800 rpm
With the mods in my sig I gained about 35 TQ up to 4500 rpm.
The gains get smaller past that point, and at 5800rpm
there is no gain at all - 215 TQ.
Is that normal with these mods?
Or maybe my valve springs are getting weak in the knees?
97,000 miles, new opti and coil.
Low end torque is good, but top end is not there.
