TPS sensor cause hesitation?

About a month ago had a radiator hose bust on me. Last weekend I put a brand new GM opti on. This helped alot but still not right. Before the hose busted it ran great. The TPS sensor was right in the line of fire where it busted. Any chance this could be my problem?

Also tonight I checked under the hood for any fireworks. A couple of wires were arcing, but all 8 spark plugs were arcing (not the boots actual plugs).
The Autolite 104 plugs are about 2 1/2 months old. Should I replace the plugs?

Re: TPS sensor cause hesitation?

Start with replacing your wires and use dielectric grease on the boots. You might also have the car scanned for knock retard.
