Torquing down the windage tray studs

so I'm torquing down the mains and I go to do the studs and I'm not sure how I can do this without a EXTREMELY deep socket, is there another way I can do this without going out and buying some really deep one?

LOL!! now thats funny. I'm pretty sure thats how I did it though, but it seems like they're might be another way, does the last part of the stud screw off of the other part? I know it sounds weird but for some reason i was thinking it did but its been a while since I took the bottom end apart. Might wanna call the store and make sure they have one laying you for you before you get on the bike

You can try taking a normal deep socket put it on, then put your ratchet on the socket. It won't snap and lock into the socket like it should, but if you push down on the ratchet and pull at the same time it should be ok. Won't slip or anything, but be careful just in case..

yeah I will most definitly call first, even my deep 5/8 socket isn't deep enough to reach, the stud pokes through the hole where the torque wrench is suppose to go in and it still is only half way on the stud

this is kinda funny, and really really not all at the same time

still open for other suggestions on doing it right
