torque converter lockup.. need help bad

torque converter lockup.. need help bad

i swapped from an m6 to an A4, had the computer reprogramed, pinned in the big round connector, how does the T/C lock and un lock? is there a seperate wire i gotta run from the pcm to one of the switches on the brake pedal?

Question

The lock up and un lock up is controlled by the PCM. There is no seperate wire that connects to the brake I believe. Are you sure you got a lock up converter? Because they do sell both a lock up and non lock up converter.

i have a lock up converter, some one told me that i need to run a a wire from the PCM to some sort of momentary switch like the one on the brake pedal...
