Hey guys whats up. Well now i got a head/cam package(le1 with xe224/230) of mine that runs decent in lower rpms, but when i floor it at like 90 mph it sits at like 4,000 rpm, and doesn't want to pull at all anymore. Lower gears it pulls all the way up, but when it goes into 3rd(4l60-E) it like just goes to a stand still almost. like not pulling anymore at all.I didn't know if its the tune or what. I am running a 2500 stall and i didn't know if the stall would cause that kind of problem or what. I am wondering what would make it wrap lower gears and not when it goes into drive. Do i need to drop the gears in the back to 3.73s or what ? Any help would be appreciated..Thanks...

Tranny slipping?

Is it gaining RPM's on the tach?

like when you hit it at 15mph it pulls pretty good up till when the tranny goes into 3rd then it just gets sluggish and doesn't pull anymore...

Does it do it if ya are in third and ease on it--will it tach out easing on it?

NO, not even crusin will it go. Then if I am crusing at like 50-55 miles a hour, and I let completly off the gas, it like stumbles or jerks a lil bit.

Check your fuel pressure and all of the other normal thing's too.
Get a guage and tape it to the windshield and drive it. See if the pressure falls at that time it's acting up. Pressure should be about 35-39 at idle with the vacuum hose on and 45-49 with it off and should not fall under acceleration or load.
