Too much play in gas pedal....

Too much play in gas pedal....
...how do I fix that? My pedal sits about 2 inches off the floor. I can lift it up w/my hand about 2-3 more inches, and it just falls back. I want to fix that. My pedal has WAY to much play. Simple fix? Or am I looking at a dealer repair....

supossed to be like that...
the only way to tell if you really need to do something about it is to have someone hold the pedal to the floor and check the TB to make sure that it is hitting it's stop at WOT.
if you are.. then don't worry about it... if you aren't then you may need to change out your Throttle cable or go woth a Lokar adjustable one.
