I know the Transmission horrors of fluid change and I'm going to try my luck with a tranny flush, fluid & filter change. The car has been taken care of like a grocery getter and has been very well maintained which is the reason for my decision of a second tranny service. My tranny change at 79K miles of Kendall (non synth) seemed to hold up pretty well. I do notice a little bit of slip right now at 97K miles but its pretty un-noticable. I was considering going back to Dexron? What do you think?

Yup thats about when mine started going. Unfortunately the motor went first. lolol. SO I got stuck with rebuilding a motor and a tranny. BIG BUCKS. DOn't think the oil has much to do with it right now. Sorry I know you didn't want to hear that.
