Too cold of a plug

Ok, tried this in the nitrous section.. now I'm gonna ask the motor guys.. since my problem is only at idle and super duper light load.. Ok.. I started spraying on my lt1... have msd opti, msd coil, msd wires, mallory box... Everything fine.. put in the autolite 104's gapped at .035.. and I have a slight miss like its loading up at idle... and at super light throttle usually around 2k rpms.... Any remedy that will allow it to still be safe on the bottle as well.

Thanks in advance.

That's strange....Autolite 104's are only about 1/2 to 3/4's of a step colder than the stock heatrange plugs....and even the colder Autolite 103's (gapped tight at .035) should run just fine on an LT1 motor without causing any loading up or missing issues at all.. Matter a fact, I've never even seen going to the colder Autolite 103's cause what your describing(no less with the 104 plugs and all the better than stock ignition products that your running) it's like maybe something's off with the tune (or a sensor) at that particular RPM where your getting the slight miss, Ect.........I would data log it if you can, or get it on a wideband to see exactly whats happening.......also make sure it's not something simple like a plug wire (broken inside or not fully connected) since you say it happened right after the plug swap.......good luck with it..........Joe
