tires / potenza

I currently have re730 275/40 on the car. Well i did as one blew out yesterday. Anyway I cant seem to find them as I guess they have been discontinued. Tire race wanted to sell me the new 750 series. The sales guy told me they are compatiable and will work fine with the 730. I dont know what to do, right now I have the to vette rims with the bigger tires up front and then two stock salads on the back and feel like a ricer with two different rims. whta do you guys suggest I do. I dont really want to mix up tires, I didnt think that was a good idea. Also though I dont know if I want to spring for 4 new ones. The only reason I am thinking on those lines is one of the current re730 has a slow leak and no one can seem to find it. I have to fill it up about 10 psi every three weeks. let me know your thoughts or if you have a good connection on some re730

thanks miles

Put the two good 730 tires that you have on the back and put two of the new 750 tires up front. It will look just fine. Alot better than running two different rims...LOL. If you really want to stick with the 730 all around then check tirerack.com and discounttire.com. one of those should be able to help you out.

I have the Same problem with one of My RE730's!

I also heard that the RE750 is the replacement for the RE730.

I bought the a set of the new RE750's with my Boyd Coddington wheels and i love them, they are a very nice tire with a good agressive look to them.

I ran 730s for a while.. I liked them..for the first 2 months. Bald in 8 months They didn't like to hook up at all.. I got sideways through most of 2nd gear... If it was 80+ degrees ..I had traction... anything less and it was sit and spin time. They do have a Second generation 730 out ...tirerack had them last time I looked. Did they discontinue the entire 730 lineup? Wow.

So I got a set of GSCs for free that had 1200miles on them.. well they lasted me another 4 months.. and Im now running RE950s. These have proved to be very good so far. Excellent traction and they are not wearing down very fast at all. If you have to drive in the rain these things are insane!
