tire shopping time!
tire shopping time!
with the arrival of my tax return, its time to buy a bad *** set of tires...
Its mostly between the Goodyear Eagle F1s or the BFGoodrich G-Force KDWs
the tires need only run good in wet and dry (no snow) and i only want the stock size 245/50/16
anybody know what the hell tirerack considers the difference between ultra high performance and max performance (they're both YR rated)?

I just placed an order for a new set of BFG G-Force KDW's from Tbyrne to replace my Goodyear Eagle F1's (I got ~24,000 miles out of them with abuse), so I won't really know how they compare until my new tires come in. Honestly though, I never had any problems with the F1's until I got to the track, I just couldn't stick. That may have been bad track prep., my bad driving, the tires, or a combination of the 3. I wanted to try something different anyway, so I went with the BFG's.
