Ok, my car is really pissing me off!

Ok, overheating again. I changed the engine temp sensor, then it was ok for like a day. Now when I go from 1-3rd gear, my engine temp goes to like 260 and oil pressure is like almost 0!!! Then, when I go faster in 4-6th gear, the temp goes down to like 170ish, but still VERY low oil pressure. What the hell is the problem here, I honestly have no clue.

Try bleeding any air that might be in your system, see if that helps the overheating problem.

Maybe a head gasket. What is the oil pressure like before the trouble starts? How are the fluid levels? I would also check the fans to be sure they are coming on. That low oil pressure would worry me first I think. You caould also try removing the t-stat. Are you sure it is the correct one? I have heard that putting a "foward flow" t-stat in our cars will cause alot of trouble.

Are you sure your oil pressure is near 0? If it is then you should hear your lifters clattering, especially off idle. How quickly does your temp gauge change? Do you hear detonation? An overheating engine should be spark knocking unless the pcm is really pulling the timing back, then it should really be sluggish. Maybe you have a problem with you instrument panel. Grounds? Powers? Good luck.
