Tire was mounted wrong questions

Local shop, don't know a lot. I helped him to show him you got , read on the tire to know what side goes on the inside, well he got one of them right, and I wasn't looking at the 2nc one is wrong

1. Its been mounted wrong for 3k miles or about a month( i drive a lot)

2. Will this hurt it, when I get them to fix it?

3. Am I in danger.

I"m really mad also they stripped out a lug nut of mine too yah

I think the directional thing is for water evacuation, could be wrong, but I don't think it will damage the tire any... anyone else care to chime in?

You aren't in danger from the reversed tire. Fix the stretched/stripped stud at the very least.

Reversing the tire should not be a problem. Any wear patterns will reverse in the next few thousand miles.

Sometimes tires are directional for things other than tread pattern, but not often.

Please visit another shop to have the tire and stud fixed.

FWIW, I usually put a piece of tape on the outside of new tires with "out" written on it to prevent just what you got.

Ok thanks guys.

They did not strip out the stud, just the lugnut itself, got a spare lugnut and fixed that. I'm going back to the same place and make them put the tire on correctly this time. Thanks guys
