Tips for running on the dyno?

Crowd,

I may get a chance to chassis dyno my car on Saturday (5/27) for $50. Since I put everything together 3-4 yrs. ago, I have never had any tune or dyno time on the car at all.

This price is to just spin the rollers....no tuning. I'd like to see what the car makes though.

Car has ported heads, mild cam, 7psi blower, etc. and weather is suppossed to be mid 80's and humid.

Any tips would be appreciated: Icing down, what rpm to hit it at etc. This oportunity came up very recently so I haven't had much time to think about it.

Thanks, and everyone have a great holiday weekend.

-Scott.

Check the oil, water and all the fluids. Make sure they are up to where they should be.

Run through 1,2,&3 gear. You want to make your pull in 4th as it is the gear which is 1:1 ratio.
