was needing some advice i bought a 93 camaro lt1 stock with bad w/p and optisark. replaced both. i know i got the pin in correctly. problem is when i accelerate seems to have bad pinging from rockers. and notice brand new starter has snapped the casing twice over 3 weeks.is there a way to retard the timming? i did pull the balancer to install opti.may have set that pulley slightly off when i installed.does the crankcase sensor affect timming at all? thanks for any suggestions.
