Timing pointer with stock balancer & opti

Is there an aftermarket timing pointer that will bolt on, clear the opti & wires and work out (diameter wise) with a stock balancer? I'll notch the balancer at TDC and use a timing light with an advance/retard adjustment. I just want to compare actual timing to the ECM timing tables and the Datamaster numbers.

If your hub isn't keyed, what good is a mark on the harmonic damper?

Just curious why you feel you need to verify the timing this way?
