timing/opti install?
timing/opti install?
the little gear drive that fits into the cam sprocket and the opti is keyed in a way that it forces them to line up correct? and as long as i line them up, then my opti will be in correct time with the cam correct?
side question-
i'm not quite clear on how the cam dowel length affects the opti spark, it's covered up by the timing cover and doesn't make any contact with the opti, so how in the world does that make a difference?

The opti's without the splined shaft need that cam dowel pin or else they ride the cam via the 3 cam bolts and thus the opti will be lagging behind the cam quite a bit.
