Timing cover question...

Hey guys,, I just installed a CSI electric water pump on my LT1. Question is what else can be used to plug the hole in the timing cover? Some people just use a bolt with two washers . Thats what I used. But my timing chain is dragging it and it sounds horrible. does anyone make a special plug for it. Just curious to what some of you guys have used. Thanks
