Timing Cover Leak+Cost??
it only takes a few hours to change it. Drain the coolant, pull the fan for more room, pull the crank pulley and hub, water pump is 5 bolts, timing cover is like 9. Cake job just kinda time consuming.
Shop is gonna cost a couple hundred I would guess.
Be sure to loosen all the bolts on the oil pan to drop it a little bit. You can re use the seal if you don't damage it.

nope, just on f-body.com and this board. Check the MI board here on cz28, there's a guy named IrocSS85. He'll do it for ya outta his garage. He's a little drive from here but the money you save in taking it somewhere is worth it. I've never had him do any work, but he's really knowledgeable, a GM tech, etc... Tons of people have him do work.
I would recommend doing it yourself. Take a few hours on a day you have spare time. The felpro kit is 8 bucks and comes with everything you need.
