Timing cover install.....

Guys I am in the process of getting everything back together after my new cam install. Everything was going well till I got to the timing chain cover. How does this go back on??? Do you have to completely drop entire pan?? I have removed the front four bolts on each side and cannot get it to move downward at all. Any shortcuts here. 93 Z M6...thanks

I had to loosen ALL the bolts on the oil pan in order to get the front to drop down enough. Even then, it's tricky to install the cover without misaligning the bottom seal, or damaging the WP drive seal.

It's a pain -- patience is the key. Good luck...
