Timing Cover

Do I have to lower the front of my oil pan to change the timing cover seals?.....Im replacing an opti and thought i'd fix the oil leak but not if i have to lower the pan

From reading through other peoples posts I do believe the timing cover sits within a lip that is covered by the oil pan requiring you to drop the pan.

You don't have to remove the cover to replace any of the round seals. You do have to lower the front of the oil pan if you are removing whole cover.
