Timing Chain Set

Well going to go with the Lt4 Hotcam Setup For now(got a great deal on a new 1)..just wondering what timing set everyone rec. ive heard i could stay with the Lt1 set but im not to sure...just wanna c what every1 else is runnin..thanks

You can still use the LT1 timing set, a fresh factory replacement wouldn't be a bad idea though.

Ws6store has a nice setup for $249.99 Its a step above the stock set.

Plus, your options are kind of limited seeing that you have a 94 and a non-vented optispark. The LT4 ED set requires a vented opti. The Cloyes double roller,another popular timing set, also requires a vented opti, timing cover clearancing, and an electric water pump.

Lunati makes a nonvented opti timing set that requires no other changes to the car for around 128$ MSRP.

I replaced mine with another factory chain @143K for the hell of it, the stock one did have some slack, so it was worth it to me
