Timing Chain

Im doing a cam swap in the next week, would it be ok to just get a stock replacement chain for it. I'm not planning on putting new a new gear set, will that be alright?

You should always replace the sprockets as well. The chain and sprockets wear together. Putting a new chain on old sprockets isn't a good idea.
