Timing chain

Hello I was told you can make your car sound like it has a supercharger in it by buying a timing chian. does anybody know what timing chain to buy??

Sorry, it sounds like a poor plan. The only thing that I have heard of that makes more noise is a gear drive for the cam. It involves a bit of expense and clearancing of the timing cover.

That would be a "noisy" gear drive.... However:

The water pump on the LT1 is driven by the timing gear on the camshaft. So, as such you cannot run tradtional small-block Chevy timing chains or gear drives unless you convert the stock water pump over to electric. And there probably would be some clearancing of the timing cover required.

Not to mention that you'd get enormous amounts of false knock.

i had an alternator that was going bad and sounded like it had a blower for 2 weeks before it crapped out on me
