Exclamation Timing Chain

I need advice on which timing chain to buy. See Sig & I will KEEP the stock water pump. What are my option beside the LT4?

The others I have seen are Luntai (sp?) and Comp cams sets but they are around $600 bucks. So the LT4 is the only decent one out there.

Lunati now has one for the LT1, I don't know how much stronger it is than stocker but it's another option. It's in the latest Summit catalog for around $107 or check online with them.

The stock chain will stand up to a lot. There isn't a reason to spend a lot of extra money until you have some serious power.

My stock chain was a loose as they get. I was actually wondering if my timing was even close to what it was supposed to be with it.

I thought the same thing. I removed my stocker at 57K recently and was shocked how loose the thing was, lots of slack in it. I went with the Cloyes double roller also.

I think the Clones one is for an electric pump. I rather stay with the stock one.

The cloyes you will need an electric h20. Your options are running the stock chain, with a slightly oversized sprocket to take up the slack, or to run a lt4 chain which is beefier and a little tighter.
