i'd go with ac delco plugs
they never let me down

and just see if the w/pump is leaking or not
if your opti went, the w/pump probably caused it but not necessarily
just check it out before you plop down serious dough replacing it

Get delco plugs and wires or ngk tr-55 plugs with any kind of decent wire. Idk about oil pump, i think thats a bit harder to change but get a new opti if its bad and id get a new waterpump too because its probaly leaking on the opti or it will probably go soon and it would be nice to get a new one while you have everything apart.

Re: in time for a tune up i suppose....

since i'm not doing this service, i'm not sure i'll have a choice in what they are putting in my car, unless i order a certain part, or plugs and wires and they put them in for me? in a tune up, what would you guys recommend to get done, the car has never had one.

can someone tell me what gap for the NGK tr55's??? there is a .035 and .050. what about the NGK TR6-IX or the NGK R5724-8??
