I appreciate the feedback. I don't want to spend money replacing good parts. I've done the 'bounce test" and I'm not sure of the results... The front end didn't continue to bounce, but it also didn't settle on the first rebound. Are there any other tests I can do myself? For the back shocks, I guess I could just take them off, but that's kind of tough for the front ones...

I'm still looking for feedback on the previously listed shocks should I have to replace the originals.
Thanks,

They might be on their way out then, but not to the point that it is the ONLY thing that could have caused your tire wear. I still say get an alingment and wait to go through another set og tires on the front and see how they are worn.

I guess it kind of depends on what time of year you are talking about. During the winter months, my shocks and such make that crunching sound also. This is somewhat normal. During that summer months I very rarely hear anything. It all has a lot to do with the temperature outside.

Tire wear aside... if the shocks have 115K on them then they are definately worn out.

I get up to Orlando about every other month... I'm a UCF grad and still have family and friends in the area... Where in the Orlando area can I get an alignment for around $30? Do you work for a shop? Thanks again for the feedback.

I live about 5-10 minutes down the road from UCF... My buddy works at a shop and that is the price that he charges friends and what not... I think the normal price is like $40 or $50, something like that. I will get the name, number, and address for you.

Ive seen the same thing too but I know I need shicks/struts because you barely lean down on it and the car sinks down. But that crunching sound comes from the rear and the front. I bought some Bilstein HDs and I want to get springs but I dont know if I have to or not...gotta take them off anyway.
