12.2 in the 1/4 with these mods:
SLP Cold Air Intake
SLP LoudMouth Exhaust
SLP Single Cat Headers (ceramic coated)
SLP Clutch
SLP Pressure Plate
Pro 5.0 Shifter with short stick
Auburn Pro Series Locking Unit
Richmond 3.73s
MSD 8.5mm Plug Wires
Bosch Plat +4's
TB Bypass
Manual Fan switch
1993 Z28 with 6 speed.
I don't think it is but just want some others opinions before rising the BS flag.

Never say never. Russ Etheridge which Im sure will reply to this soon enough won GMHT's fastest bolt-on LT1 with almost those same mods. He had headers, exhaust, cai, 4.10 gear, 1.6rr's, 52mm throttle body, and some weight reduction and ran 12.2 on BFG drag radials. Stock cam, heads, and all.

In 93 the Camaro's were using the ZF 6-speed if I remember right.
I still think that would be impossible......
Not a chance, period!
Im looking at that issue as I type this and I think Russ's success was due to a SERIOUS weight reduction plan for that car.
He ran a 12.42 with a car that weighs 3360 with driver!! My 95 topped off at 3620 with me in it( i weigh 189), that means that his car probably weighs in at an incredible 3160 without driver! (no offense Russ, your not a little man, I'd say about 200 lbs, but an a$$ kicking 200 lbs
) Every 100 lbs lost is about a 10th gain as a rule of thumb and you can see where that Et came from with the limited amount of "power" adding boltons he had.
GOTLT1, take your list and subtract about 500lbs worth of weight and you might get high 12's
p.s your sig says A/4, but the last part of your thread says its a 6 spd ??

I tried some horsepower 1/4 mile calculators.
Guessing at roughly 280 to 290 hp being put to the rear wheels, and knowing the 1/4 mile time of 12.2 - the car would have to weigh 2600lbs in order to do those times.
Even if you were conservative and gave it 310hp - it would still have to weigh only 2850lbs with driver and all.......
So I stand corrected - if he managed to remove five to six hundred pounds from the car, that is a possible 1/4 mile time.
Extremely unlikely but possilble.

I know of people who have gone fast with major weight removal, but this car still has everything plus a ground effects kit and the following stuff:
2 12' Kicker Comp subs
Clarion speakers
Elkamelon Head Unit
MTX 600watt Mono Amp
So weight reduction has nothing to do with it.
@ Pandamonkey, I know that 93s had two different types of 6 speeds, one was the kind the Viper was using and the other (If I recall) was the ZF.
