Is it time for a new clutch???
I have been smelling burnt clutch for the last 5 days or so. It is from normal driveing also. The clutch also doesn't fully engage until it is at the very top. There is also not really any freeplay in the pedel. The clutch is a SLP clutch with only 5,000 miles on it. I don't think i could of made it go out that fast. I also checked the master cylinder and there is plenty of fluid in there. What do you think this can be. Do you think it is time for a new clutch again? Or is the pedel ajustable or something. The clutch still grabs really good but like i said it engages at the very top and i can smell it everytime i get to a stop.
Just a thought but did you have your flywheel resurfaced? If not maybe its slipping a really little bit. If you did, how many times has it been done? Most people say you can resurface the stock flywheel 2-3 times before it becomes to thin, but maybe to much was taken off in the first place.

Yeah, i got it resurfaced when i did my clutch. As far as i know it was the first time also. The person i bought the car told me that they never replaced the clutch. The day i bought the car the clutch went out so i definately beleive them.
