broke another tranny mount?

just driving the car bout 10 minutes ago..I hit the gas hard..and I hear the same noise I experienced not even 3 months ago. I changed the mount then..and it has been fine..is there a possibility that I already blew it again after this short of time? and on a stock Z...this is rediculous

quit playing so hard. Believe it or not i thought i heard you could put a few hose clamps or clamp similar to that around the mount and it will help keep them from pulling a part. That way you don't have to go with a poly mount.

Very possible. Did you buy the part from Autozone or is a GM part?
The ploy mounts are a lot strong then the stock ones, but they have a little vibration to them.

Ive gone through 2 tranny mounts. This is very common thing. I would suggest a poly. Since I installed it I havent broken the mount in over a year

You won,t break a poly mount but it does produce some vibrations.
Mine does it worst at the top of each gear but it smooths out as soon as the TC locks up.
