Time needed for header install?
Time needed for header install?
I was planning on doing my exhaust install soon, i will have to remove and block off the air and egr, remove the stock manifolds and borla cat back, install the kooks longtubes and the tsp rumbler x duals and the tuned pcm.
Would a weekend (friday afternoon to sunday night) be long enough for all this? I will not be doing any welding, all band clamps and bolts. I dont have access for a lift so i was planning on jacking the car up and putting it on blocks until i could get enough clearance to kneel under the car.
Thanks

Re: Time needed for header install?
A weekend should be plenty of time. Just make sure you do your homework before hand.
Also if you need any welding done, find out who and when they can do it.
Tips:
1. Don't break your dipstick trying to get it out. Pull and tug for a little bit till you can see the small metal lip around the bottom then just hit that with a flathead until it comes out.
2. Be very careful with the exhaust manifold bolts as it is too easy to break one off in the cylinder head, then you are in BIG trouble. Soak them as much as you can with PB Blaster before you start.
3. Let your car run for 20 min or so after you get everything back together BEFORE you put the O2's back in, or you will ruin them.
Good Luck,
