Time for the high mileage oil?

So if I change to Mobile 1 what are the odds I will develop leaks?

I'd bet it won't.

94 LT1 with 115K here...Mobil1 5W30 every 2500 since new without fail, NO oil burning, NO leaks, NO engine gunk and NO problems.

Have you ever had any oil analysis tests done? If you have, or have read up and researched different oil analysis's then you would know that for the LT1, German made Castrol Syntec 0W-30 is the best oil for the engine. It produces the least amount of wear on the engine. But you have phone numbers that you can give me, so I guess you know everything.

i dont know everything. thats the whole point. i get my information from people that make the real synthetics. the stuff that doesnt start out as mineral oil base stock.

I switched to Mobil 1 synthetic when i got the car at 60k. I'm just about to roll over 100k and had ZERO leaks.
