Time for brakes, what to get?

Yes they are a great value, but no, they were more like $1346, ask me how I know.

Actually I haven't totally completed my install yet but I have felt this brake kit on other cars, and it rocks beyond description. Of course, this is probably way beyond what most people want to spend.

If you mean the front kits, I wouldn't say so. The Sport and Track kits are nothing but an LS1 upgrade, and the GT/GT+ kit is the C5 upgrade.

Actually, read more carefully on Baer's own site or brochures.... the Baer 2 piston kits all use PBR calipers which is the same manufacturer as the GM calipers. They are also visually identical. The Sport and Track kits are the gravity cast PBR 2 piston caliper and the GT/GT+ kit uses the pressure cast PBR 2 piston caliper, only differences being both of these are 13" rotor kits, where the stock LS1 rotors are only 12".

I got them for just about $1200 even, plus $90 something in brake lines, and shipping. I bought mine from LG motorsports, LS1 speed had them for $50 less but I refuse to do any more business with them after my past experiences that I won't go into.
Also, don't forget, if you ever would want to order these, that theres hidden costs. I bought $45 worth of Safety wire pliers and safety wire, not to mention an inch/lb torque wrench that goes down that low, which is around $50-$70 if you don't own one (cheaper wrenches don't go down as low), a special (5/16" 12 pt) socket for the rotor bolts, a Sawz-all, etc, etc.
The current progress of my install can be found on the link in my sig.
