Tilt Steering Column/ REplace and Turn Switch??

I have a95 z-28.

The Tilt column has some "springy" give to it. it pulls down and to the left side slightly when pulled hard. I drove a 99 LS1 the other day and the steering column had absolutely NO give to it. I want to make mine this tight. and...

On another note: My directional lever is broken. the turn signals work btu I can't switch my high beams off. I checked out GM and the part is $136 dollars. Anyone have a very nice condition tilt for Lt1 with nice tight working lever? I will buy it.

What is the easiest solution to these two problems. I was figured I could just thorw in a new column and sell this one that i have and end up not spending a lot.

Slop in the tilt mechanism. Seek out TABAHR in the General F-body Tech forum. http://web.camaross.com/forums/showthread.php?t=281706
